Abstract

Career development is a critical aspect of employee engagement and retention in manufacturing organizations. Effective job profiling can play a crucial role in maximizing career growth opportunities for employees. This paper explores the importance of job profiling in career development, highlighting how it can help employees understand the requirements and expectations of their current role and identify opportunities for advancement within the organization. The paper also discusses the key components of effective job profiling, including job analysis, job description, and job specification, and how they can be used to support career development initiatives. Additionally, the paper highlights the benefits of career development for both employees and the organization, including increased productivity, improved employee morale and retention, and a more skilled and engaged workforce.
