Abstract

Bhakti poetry of the Saguna Rama tradition holds a central place in the Indian spiritual and literary heritage, representing a unique synthesis of devotion, philosophy and literary artistry. Goswami Tulsidas, a prominent figure of this tradition, is known for his magnum opus, Ramcharitmanas as well as many other works such as Vinay Patrika and Hanuman Chalisa. This study explores the religious, cultural and literary dimensions of Tulsidas's poetry.
