AN PHOTOGRAPHIC EVALUATION OF PLASMA RICH PROTEIN AS A TOPICAL APPLICANT ALONG WITH MACHINED MICRONEEDLING AN ALTERNATIVE THERAPY FOR FACIAL REJUVENATION

Abstract

Multiple treatment options to rejuvenate the face are there, among them injection of Platelet rich plasma on face is a treatment with good results provided the patient is not apprehensive to invasive procedure due to involvement of blood which has to be performed in surgical setup. This article discusses the concept of topical application of platelet rich plasma followed by machined microneedling which has a controlled depth that makes the entire procedure a minimally invasive therapy in terms of pain score and photographic assessment.
