THE EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTING FIVE’S PRACTICES IN ORGANIZING MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Abstract

The 5s principle in quality and systematic tactic used for organizing technique evolved from the five Japanese word “the Seiri,the Seiton, the Seiso, the Seiketsu, the Shitsuke”. This step helps to arrange the workplace for efficient utilization of resources and reduce the waste also give the optimize quality of output in production through monitoring and organized environment. This quality of 5s principle helps the visual evidence for obtains the company result. This empirical study helps in explore the field of management system and the firm impact in productivity performance. The important role of continuous improvement is much needed in the organization and there is a lack of necessary indication to showcase the positive effect of Five’S principle in the manufacturing industry performance. This study focusses on important presentation factors, characteristics in manufacturing industrial organization also recognizing the efficiency of Five’S practices implementation in companies’presentation and productivity. The data collection is done through surveying method by distributing questionnaire among the 8target manufacturing industry which the companies implementing the Five’S principle. The different manufacturing companies chosen for the research in the diverse of the field works. From the research the result has been derived that from comparative study of organizational performance of before implementing Five’S Principle and after implementing the Five’S practices in manufacturing companies the Five’S is the actual tool for continuous development of the company’spresentation regardless the company’skind, size and its manufacture or its service from the industry. This 5s technique is consequently strong supportive objective of manufacturing industry to achieve the productive improvement and higher performance.
