Virtual communities, particularly those present in the video and computer games, are becoming more and more significant to people who spend
their time online. Virtual users devote time, creativity, and attention to creating and personalising the avatars that serve as their representations in
these settings, and they frequently take considerable pride in these creations. The study addressed various strategies for acquiring virtual property
ownership inside of a virtual world and provided examples from various virtual environments. Avatars are outlined in a way to determine how
property-based systems in virtual worlds work when they deal with the concept of ownership in order to help people comprehend the acquisition
process for virtual property. The study's goal was to examine how people acquire ownership in virtual worlds. It is obvious that the process of
acquiring property in the real world and the process of doing so online are comparable. This article will examine the issues of whether an avatar is
copyrightable, if it is, what different theories there are for identifying the author, and how a user would be able to use an avatar in a gaming
environment. Additionally, this article addresses the legal framework that surrounds avatars, including copyright laws and the terms of service and
end-user licence agreements that provide the parameters for authorship, copyrightability, and potential joint ownership systems.
